Mendekam dalam Lapas Rajabasa, Bandar Lampung, tidak menghalangi Mulyadi melakukan aksi penipuan. Bermodal jimat warisan keluarga, terpidana kasus perkosaan tersebut berhasil menipu hampir dua milyar rupiah. Uniknya tidak satu pun dari para korban penipuan itu yang pernah ditemuinya langsung.
Jimat seperti apa yang Mulyadi warisi itu? “Pada saat digeledah, di dompet Mulyadi ditemukan potongan kulit harimau yang dibaluri air mani gajah,” kata Direktur Kriminal Umum (Dirkrimum) Polda Lampung, Kombes Johanes Widodo, kepada detikcom, Senin (21/1/2013).
Menurutnya, kepada polisi yang mencokoknya di sel Mulyadi menyebut potongan kulit harimau berbalur air mani gajah tersebut sebagai jimat warisan keluarga. Dia memperoleh jimat unik itu dari orang tuanya yang juga memperolehnya secara turun temurun.
“Katanya cukup sekali ngobrol dengan dia, orang langsung percaya,” tutur Johanes. Dia enggan berspekulasi apakah benda tersebut yang membuat korban mudah diperdaya.
Mulyadi merupakan napi kasus perkosaan yang menerima vonis 11 tahun penjara. Warga Natar, Lampung Selatan ini baru menjalani massa kurungan 3 tahun dari vonis yang dijalankan.
Polisi menangkapnya Minggu (20/1) di Lapas Rajabasa, setelah sehari sebelumnya menangkap Windarto, warga Bandar Lampung, yang menjadi kaki tangan tersangka. Windarto ditangkap saat akan menggambil uang hasil penipuan di sebuah ATM di RS Immanuel, Bandar Lampung, Sabtu (19/1).
Selain itu, polisi juga menemukan hasil rekapan penipuan korbannya. “Ada rekap yang disetor korban kepada tersangka, totalnya itu Rp 1,6 milyar sekian,” ungkap Johanes.
Pihak kepolisian terus mengembangkan kasus tersebut. Beberapa korban telah melaporkan aksi penipuan tersebut ke Polda Lampung.
“Ada yang menyetor sampai Rp 400 juta, terakhir perempuan yang menyetor Rp 87 juta, katanya dia (tersangka) merupakan perwira yang mau dimutasi,” papar Johanes.
